The Touch Screen itself is quite simply a laminated glass sensor with an inbuilt control card that connects directly to a computer.
The innovative Touch Screen technology is created by our unique software that enables the touch screen to interface with the computer and emulate the behaviour of a “mouse”, translating taps on the touchscreen surface into mouse clicks.
It achieves this by dividing the screen into pixel sized sensing cells, using microfine wires on a powered display, which are not visible to the naked eye.
Touching the glass causes a change in the frequency of the wires at that particular point, the position of which is calculated and identified by the controller.
Unlike other systems where the operator needs to touch the actual conducting surface of the sensing panel, ours can be embedded up to 25mm from the actual touch surface, ensuring long product life and enhanced stability.
This highly advanced system is extremely durable and dependable requiring almost no maintenance. It also includes a unique construction that protects against damage caused through moisture, heat and even vandalism.
